A spicy salsa!
Salsa in Spanish means sauce or an aromatic spicy taste, and the music/dance is like that, because it is a mixture of elements from Cuban rhythmic traditions, such as mambo, rumba, son and cha-cha-cha. Salsa has spread from Cuba first to the U.S. and Latin America, then worldwide.
On her journey, salsa has taken many new forms, but it is the Cuban style – stimulating, playful and above all cheerful – as this course offers. The modern Cuban salsa ranges from romantic ballads to frantic timba – on the course, tempo will be adjusted to the level of participants.
